The Hallmark Channel is smartly turning to the card brand’s popular lines of greeting cards as inspiration for new movies. The next generation of films, based on the DaySpring line of devotional and religious products, appear on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The second film in the line, after The gift of peace during last year’s Miracle of Christmas films – arrives just in time for the Easter weekend.The Blessing Bracelet, takes a look at a divorcee who learns to focus on the good in her life after discovering a blessing bracelet she made years earlier.

What is The Blessing Bracelet about?
Dawn Spencer (Amanda Schull) approaches the Easter holidays trying to balance being a single mother while working to pay off the debt left behind by her ex-husband. Feeling overwhelmed, Dawn unearths a bracelet she made years ago. She created it using four beads with the intention of using each as a reminder to count the blessings in her life. As Dawn begins to focus on the good, her faith is renewed and her life takes a positive turn. With the support of the Dawn church community and encouragement from Ben (Carl Marques), who recently entered her life, the Blessing Bracelets are helping her embark on a path she never could have imagined.

Amanda Schull (Dawn)
Schull, a former professional ballet dancer, is probably best known for her role on SYFY’s 12 monkeys and in the USA Combinations. More recently, she had recurring roles on 9-1-1 Lonestar And by Netflix The recruit opposite Noah Centineo. Her previous Hallmark movies include One summer And Merry-go-round.
Carlos Marques (Ben)
Marks previously starred as David in all six seasons of Chesapeake ribs on the Hallmark channel. Her previous Hallmark projects include Christmas with the darlings And wedding veil inspiration. Other projects include Scarecrow, pretty Little LiarsAnd Smallville.

What is DaySpring?
DaySpring is a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards. Their products focus on faith and religion. DaySpring cards and gifts can be found at Christian retail stores as well as national outlets like Wal-Mart and Hallmark stores.
Candace Cameron Bure, who left Hallmark Channel for Great American Family, recently collaborated with DaySpring on a line of products for sale in Wal-mart and on DaySpring’s website, dayspring.com.
