Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are one of the most followed B-town couples. The two welcomed their first baby Vayu last year and have shared glimpses of their parenting journey since then.
As Mother’s Day is celebrated on March 19 in the UK, Anand Ahuja dropped a lengthy note of appreciation for Sonam Kapoor. Sharing a never-before-seen photo of Sonam with Vayu, he revealed the actress is a “full-time mom.”

He captioned the post: “I must admit, and Sonam can verify this, that emotional/social awareness is not really a strength of mine. As a result, I really had to see what @sonamkapoor did at the past 17 months (and in fact even longer) to ensure the best emotional and physical health of herself and our baby to truly understand the levels of commitment and selflessness it takes to be a mother full time. At a time when we have all been accustomed to immediate reward systems, committing to motherhood truly means endless giving beyond that system. It has also emphasized her responsibilities as a daughter, sister and wife (and girlfriend :P) as she navigates ensuring our son receives all the love, learnings and blessings he can from our large family as he slowly grows to become the most unique individual with the strengths of our heritage age and also without the burden of any expectation. I know this is all cliche in a way, which is why I started off by saying it took me seeing @sonamkapoor do all this to truly appreciate the magic of motherhood. To @sonamkapoor and all mums (and we all have some degree of motherhood in us even though not everyone is a ‘full time mum’) Happy Mother’s Day!! You are the root of all life and all love.”
Reacting to the heartfelt note, Sonam Kapoor took to the comments section and wrote, “Oh wow….love you so much….don’t know what to say.”
Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor wrote, “absolutely Anand”.
