Thursday marked the disgraced TV star Todd Chrisley‘s 54th birthday – and he celebrated behind bars.
Of course, the reality veteran is at the start of a 12-year prison sentence after he and his wife Julie Chrisleyshocking bank fraud and tax evasion scandal. He’s going to spend quite a few birthdays in the slammer, it seems. And since it’s the first, his children are going wild on social media.

Daughter Savannah Chrisley kicked things off Thursday morning with a touching carousel of family photos on her instagram account. The 25-year-old began with the celebratory statement:
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!! I miss you more than you’ll ever know”
Then she realized how hard it was not to have her father – both for her and for her mum Julie, who is also serving her own sentence in a separate prison:
“It’s been 80 days… 80 days since I last received a ‘good night angel’ or ‘I love you more’ text. GEEZZZ how I miss them!! My parents have also been together for almost 30 years… and in those 30 years they have never spent an anniversary apart. So today… I imagine us all together in a circle of bear hugs! »

Savannah certainly wasn’t the only Chrisley kid to show up at their dad’s virtual party.
His son, 26 chasing chrisley, also shared another carousel of family photos for his 1.4 million followers on Thursday morning. Chase has promised that Chrisley’s children will “hold on” on the outside while their father serves out the rest of his long prison sentence.
Chase also lamented how “we live in a broken world with a broken system” in the birthday post:
“Words can’t describe how much I miss you, this will be the one year anniversary of you and mine that we won’t be together but we are together in spirit. I love you and am beyond proud of you. the man, father and husband that you are! We live in a broken world with a broken system but I have faith that we will be together soon! Until then I love you and we will keep it going! Happy birthday boss”

Lindsie Chrisley also appeared on Thursday to celebrate her father. Sharing a single old photo to her IG Stories, the podcast host became religious in her appreciation. First, noting the throwback fashion shown in her posted photo, Lindsie wrote:
“Happy birthday to that man with the braided sash. To know him is to love him.”
Next, the 33-year-old added a Bible verse from the Book of John:
“It is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask something according to his will, he listens to us. – 1 John 5:14″

Of course, it looks like Todd is doing fine in jail, all things considered. Lindsie dropped the penny earlier this week, in fact. On Wednesday, she spoke candidly about her father on the Southern tea podcast, noting how he’s “made some great friends” behind bars despite appearing to be coping well:
“When I last visited with my dad, I kept telling him how handsome he was. His minds are great. He really embraces the process there and makes the most of the process there with the people who are also there to serve with him.
That’s fine, we guess. Still, there’s no doubt that Todd would probably MUCH rather be home with his family for things like this birthday party than stuck where he is now. You know??
The years will be long…
