‘I’m Madeline McCann’ daughter Julia Wandelt will receive her DNA test results on April 13, Dr. Fia Johansson confirmed in her latest social media livestream.
Dr Fia went live with an American influencer on TikTok last night (March 31). And, earlier today, ED! reported that the celebrity fortune teller decided whether or not Julia was the missing Briton.
Madeleine disappeared from her holiday apartment in Portugal in May 2007. Her devastated parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, have been looking for her ever since.
In February, a Polish woman called Julia Wandelt came forward claiming she thought she might be Madeleine McCann. However, Dr Fia has now ended his claims after two months of investigations. The couple are still awaiting DNA test results to determine Julia’s heritage.
However, taking the comments section of Entertainment Daily’s recent story about Julia, Madeleine and Dr. Fia, our readers all asked the same question about the DNA test results.
Madeleine McCann update: DNA results due out this month
Speaking in his live chat, Dr Fia said the DNA results Julia is waiting for will be back on April 13. However, our readers have all since asked the same question – why are they taking so long? They also called on Jeremy Kyle to step in and resume investigations.
Jeremy Kyle can get results on the show in an hour, so God knows why it takes so long for the DNA test.
“Why do we have to wait until April 13 for the DNA results?” asked a reader. “Surely it’s faster than that?” Another added: “DNA doesn’t take that long.” A third also commented and alleged: “It doesn’t take that long for a DNA test.”
Another commented: “Making enough time to do the test. It should be over and over for everyone. Meanwhile, another reader said, “So ridiculous that this has been dragging on for so long. It doesn’t take that long to get results. I feel so sad for everyone involved.
Call on Jeremy Kyle to intervene
Others called on chat show host Jeremy Kyle to intervene. His show was famous for its DNA testing and lie detector. The show was, however, ultimately canceled by ITV.
“Jeremy Kyle would have had this DNA thing done in half an hour on a Wednesday morning. Why is it taking so long?” Another agreed and said: ‘It makes me laugh Jeremy Kyle can get results on the show in an hour so God knows why it takes so long for the DNA test.’
Of course, The Jeremy Kyle Show wasn’t taped live, so it’s likely the DNA results took over an hour to come back.
in fact, the UK’s DNA Diagnostics Centre, which bills itself as a “leader in DNA testing”, says the time it takes to get results can vary widely.
On its website, it states: “An efficient laboratory with the appropriate accreditations should be able to provide a report within three to four working days. While the highest quality labs can provide a report within this time frame, some labs can take 3-12 weeks to process the same type of samples.
ED! has contacted representatives of Dr. Fia for comment.
“I hope Julia gets the answers she needs”
However, not everyone felt the same when reading our story. Some readers sent their love to the McCanns, hoping they would find some “peace” soon. Others wished the same for Julia, sending their love to the 21-year-old Polish girl.
“There is no need for DNA results”, an ED! reader commented. “Dr. Fia said during her investigation that she discovered that Julia’s mother was her biological mother.”
Another sent Julia some love and said: “I hope Julia gets the answers she needs. It must be horrible to feel like you don’t belong. Meanwhile Kate and Gerry McCann were also in the thoughts of our readers as one urged Julia to ‘let Madeleine’s parents have some peace’.
