Kody Brown has some good news for single women nationwide:
He’s not coming for you after all!
The father of 18 was basically dumped by three spouses in the past year or so… as Christine moved away in November 2021; Janelle did the same in December 2022; then Meri and Kody confirmed the breakdown of their marriage last January.
This leaves Kody and his legal wife, Robyn Brown, as the only couple remaining in this previously polygamous household.
Will they soon expand their family?
Is Kody really looking for a new directing partner?
It doesn’t sound like that.
“Robyn and I are basically monogamous. Don’t let this out, it’s probably a spoiler, but it seems obvious with the new season coming up,” the TLC star said in a Cameo video on March 22.
Kody also joked that he had ‘no recommendations’ for the recipient of the video about becoming polygamous, adding that he was ‘not sure’ whether to try and convince your spouse to get plural married. was “a good idea”.
Well, we wonder why not!
In early February, The Sun reported that Kody and Robyn met in Mexico with a potential sister.
According to Pauline Bithell, co-host of Tender Loving Care…? podcast, TLC cameras captured footage (for Sister Wives Season 18) of the culmination of a courtship that began a few months ago.
“They were actively looking for this woman through dating sites, which they claim they’ve never done before,” Bithell said of Kody and Robyn.
The potential wife would have been in her twenties, had never been involved in the polygamous lifestyle in America, and is South American.
After spending time with Kody and Robyn down south, however, the woman reportedly felt “uncomfortable” and “told production she wanted to go home and didn’t want to continue filming.”
Added this podcast host:
“Apparently my source tells me that this woman wanted nothing to do with Kody and Robyn.
“She pretty much wanted to get out of the situation immediately.
“My source said she was very uncomfortable with the whole situation. She said she didn’t like their energy.
Robyn, meanwhile, has said in the past that she actually craves the polygamous lifestyle.
“If I wanted to experience monogamy, I could have,” Robyn said on air two months ago.
“I mean, it’s not like I don’t have any other choice. I could have had a very happy and successful relationship with other men. It’s just the truth, I’m sorry!
“I hate to say it because it sounds like I’m bragging or something, but I’m not. That’s right, that’s the truth.
