Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant liquor license suspended for selling alcohol to minors
This week Vanderpump Rules scandal brought new developments. It was revealed that Lisa Vanderpumpowner of restaurant SUR, has had the liquor licenses of two of its popular establishments, Tom Tom Restaurant and Bar and Pump Lounge, suspended.
Lisa Vanderpump is renowned for its extensive network of bars and restaurants in the Hollywood, California area. With her husband, Ken Toddshe owned and operated 36 restaurants, bars and clubs in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) has suspended Lisa’s liquor licenses by Lisa Vanderpump Pump Lounge and Tom Tom Restaurant, both located in West Hollywood.
The suspension reportedly came after a routine inspection revealed several violations related to the sale and service of alcohol, including the sale of alcohol to minors.
According to the ABC database, the violations occurred between July and September 2021. The suspension took effect on March 5, 2022 and will remain in place until the issues are resolved.
In a statement, the restaurant owners expressed disappointment with the suspension, but stressed their commitment to following all regulations and procedures related to the sale and service of alcohol.
Pump Lounge, located on the southeast corner of Santa Monica and Robertson Boulevards in West Hollywood, is co-owned by Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, an experienced restaurateur, Ken Todd. The establishment opened in May 2014, attracting many reality TV stars.
With the 95th Academy Awards scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 12, 2023, Pump Lounge and Tom Tom Restaurant have a big weekend ahead of them.
The Oscars, which reward films released in 2022, will be held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles and will be televised by ABC in the United States. The event should be followed by many Oscar parties in Los Angeles, Hollywood and West Hollywood.
Given the recent suspension of their liquor licenses, restaurants may need to resolve their issues quickly to get in on the festivities.
Tom Tom Restaurant had a soft opening in July 2018, followed by a grand opening later that month. Vanderpump And Ken Todd in partnership with Tom Sandoval And Tom Schwartz bring the establishment to life. Tom Tom was voted the best bar in Southern California by Los Angeles Travel Magazine.
