Cynthia Bailey’s ex Peter Thomas is on trial for choking a woman

This trip to the bar turned into a nightmare…

Peter Thomas Since The Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently on trial for choking a woman.

He faces second-degree assault charges that carry a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

The alleged assault took place at Bar ONE, his Baltimore establishment, in March 2022. chanel williams reported that her visit there with friends turned violent when she was attacked and smothered by the reality TV personality.

Cynthia BaileyThe ex was arrested in the case last year and is currently in Baltimore Circuit Court.

Chanel recalled, “We were all there to have a good time. Everything was fine.”

The 30-year-old went on to say that a woman had invited her group to a VIP table. This is where the owner approached her.

She explained that Peter hugged her and she felt him push her on the chair, which made her think he was drunk. Then things went wrong.

Later that night, he returned and began verbally harassing Chanel. That’s when the 62-year-old put his hands on her neck and began choking her for about thirty seconds.

Chanel called 911 that night and filed a complaint the next day.

His friend Ciera Dunlap also testified in court and provided new information about the incident.
