Amid reports of The Real Housewives of New York: Legacy being cut short due to salary demands, new sources reveal that the cast weren’t a united front when signing their respective contracts.

Rumors of unrest began earlier this week after reports broke claiming the cast, consisting of dorinda Mixed, Kelly Bensimon, Luan of Lesseps, sonia Morganand Julie Zarine, was unhappy with the “generous” salary offer and guaranteed number of episodes that Bravo brought to the table. Consequently, contract negotiations stalled, with Bravo quickly “losing interest” in the series.

However, sources close to the cast and production say Jill was the only one who resisted as she kept asking for more money, which led to the show’s collapse.

“[Jill] was pushing for a big payday was the straw that broke the camel’s back,” a source close to Kelly told Page Six.

The source went on to allege that Kelly and Dorinda were both set to sign the dotted line on their contracts and start production, while Sonja, in typical Sonja fashion, was completely left out of any the situation and “barely paid attention”.

Meanwhile, Luann was recently spotted in a New York cafe by a hawk-eyed fan. She was seen reading a printed copy of Page Six’s report into the disappearance of Legacy.

The source claimed that Luann was “chatting” on her phone and appearing “on edge”, “constantly pacing” while reading the story.

It’s natural for Luann to be pissed off as Bravo rescinded his contract offers earlier this week as the show “collapsed.”

The cabaret entertainer has since confirmed that the show would have been canceled, telling PEOPLE, “Right now it’s not going anywhere.”

Luann hopes the show will be brought back in some form.

“I’ve always said, ‘Never Count the Countess,’ but in this case it’s ‘Never Count the New York Housewives,'” she told the publication. “[There’s] they will no doubt find a way to bring the OGs and beloved New York Housewives together again.

However, insiders close to the production say there are “no plans” to bring the series to life currently – despite Andy Cohen‘s asserts that the series is indeed not dead.

The Bravo producer sent out a tweet apparently in response to the rumors surrounding Legacy this week that simply said, “Don’t believe everything you read. #RHONYLegacy”

Bravo has yet to release an official statement regarding the status of the show.
