Sir David Jason fans share fears as actor trends on Twitter

Sir David Jason fans shared their fears earlier today (February 2) after seeing the Only Fools and Horses caption on Twitter.

Many admitted they were “sweating” after seeing his name on the social networking site.

And they all jumped to the same conclusion about what happened to the National Treasure, most famous for playing Del Boy Trotter on the comedy series.

Sir David Jason sparks fear among fans

Earlier today, Twitter users were thrown into a state of panic when they saw the #SirDavidJason trend.

Many jumped to the conclusion that something terrible had happened to David.

One shared, “I saw David Jason trending, I almost screamed.”

A second added: “I saw that David Jason was trendy…. Don’t do this to me Twitter!

“David Jason trending. Do not do this to me ! says a third.

“I nearly had a bloody heart attack seeing the ‘Sir David Jason’ trend,” said another.

‘Crisis averted’

However, David Jason is, it seems, alive and well – and celebrates his birthday today, hence the Twitter love.

Luckily, it’s only her birthday. Crisis averted.

“When you see that David Jason is in fashion…. But then you realize it’s just her birthday. What a legend,” said a relieved fan.

“Fortunately, it’s just his birthday. Crisis averted,” said another.

Today actually marks the Only Fools and Horses star’s 83rd birthday.

Maybe he’s celebrating by calling out everyone on Twitter who was worried that something untoward had happened to him as a “plunker”…
