Watch Golden Buzzer winner ‘AGT: All-Stars’ which Simon Cowell says is ‘best performance I’ve seen in any series’

Monday night was the fifth night of auditions for America’s Got Talent: All-Stars and there was only one Golden Buzzer left to award, the Golden Buzzer Group, which meant the judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and host Terry Crews everyone had to agree on who to give it to.

They expressed some concern to the head of the show that this might be a problem, but after England has an incredible talent finalist Tom Ball performed his unique take on Simon & Garfunkel“Sounds of Silence” and with the AGT audience chanting ‘Golden Buzzer, Golden Buzzer’, there was no doubt that the 24-year-old secondary (in the US, that means high school) teacher from West Sussex, UK was the act that deserved it .

“Tom, I’m really mad about something,” Simon said. “I wish this was the first time I heard you in a weird way. You’re like Susan Boyle‘s grandson because what you are doing is not what we expect. For me, it’s the best performance I’ve seen in any series.

Howie chimed in, saying, “You are surprising in so many ways. You’re only 24 and Simon and Garfunkel are much older than that, but you do it so well. You are truly amazing.
