Jamirah Shutes let her emotions get the better of her.

After the Memphis Tigers women’s basketball loss to Bowling Green, Shutes hit one of her opponents during the handshake line.

She is now charged with assault.

Update: The BGSU Police Department has officially charged the Memphis player (Jamira Shutes) who threw the punch at Elissa Brett with assault.
