The judge presiding over the couple’s divorce case ordered Michael Halterman to “remove all clothing, papers and personal effects” from their home, according to court documents obtained by The Sun.
An agreement has been reached which will allow Michaelaged 40, to enter their shared residence at a mutually agreed time and date.
The court allowed the father of two children to enter the shared residence, “to collect his clothes, his papers and his personal effects”.
Amy Slaton35 years old, was authorized to have third party monitoring Michael’s brief and formal visit.
In addition to allowing Michael to enter the residence once, the court ordered both Michael And Amy maintain a distance of 500 feet from each other at all times.
The court ordered both parties to maintain a minimum distance of 500 feet from each other, and all communications must be done on a court-supervised app.
Additionally, the former couple are prohibited from making any public statements or social media posts regarding each other or the dispute.
Finally, the court ordered that Amy And Michael file their taxes separately for 2022, each being allowed to claim a minor child and being solely responsible for any resulting deficit or refund.
As noted, the judge decided to grant both parents temporary joint custody of their two sons, two-year-old Gage and nine-month-old Glenn.
According to court documents, Michael believes he is entitled to joint custody since he and Amy have been caring for the children since birth.
On March 22, 2023, the court ruled that a “shared parenting schedule” should be established to allow Amy and Michael to “maximize the parenting time available”.
On Feb. 28, the TLC star filed an emergency protective order, a firearms surrender order, and a summons for a protective order, against 40-year-old Michael.
The court docket reads: “Amended to allow contact with children 3/8/23. Supervised contact allowed with children, no physical discipline, supervised by mother and sister.
Amy Slaton called 911 four days before seeking the protective order, alleging that Michael had become “violent” in the family home. Amy claimed her husband started “throwing things” during an intense argument, according to the 911 dispatch document.
