Lately, speculation has been circulating about who the next James Bond might be.
Now it looks like the man of the moment, our very own Paul Mescal could be up there.
Fresh off of his Best Actor win at the Oliver Awards, the Irish actor has been added to the upcoming James Bond market by bookmarkers.
So how likely is this casting? Well, according to the market itself, Paul was added at odds of 33/1 to land the role.
While he is by no means the market leader, he is ahead of Michael Fassbender (40/1) and former favorite Tom Hiddleston (50/1).
With fellow Irishman Cillian Murphy at 50/1.
That makes the Kildare native the most likely Irishman to become the next Bond.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Henry Cavil are currently bookies favorites to take over the role.
James Norton also remains firmly in the mix since playing his part in a thrilling Happy Valley finale.
We don’t know about you, but we’d love to see the Irishman reprise the iconic role.
And with Paul having previously admitted to being a huge Bond fan, who better to take on the role?
