Cameron Diaz’s troubled comeback film ‘awaiting £33,000 theft plot against co-star Jamie Foxx’ |

OHMYGOSSIP – Cameron Diaz’s troubled comeback film is reportedly on hold after a plot to steal £33,000 from his co-star Jamie Foxx in an elaborate scam came to light.
Bosses of Netflix film ‘Back in Action’ have reportedly halted production as they investigate after a staff member has been sacked and say police have been contacted over an incident which allegedly involved the worker being linked to previous attempts to extort huge sums of money from stars.
A source told The Sun: “This movie was a bit of a nightmare.
“There were a lot of delays, especially with the weather thanks to the outdoor filming in London in winter, but the last issue is a little more sinister.
“A member of staff has been sacked and investigations are ongoing after someone tried to access £33,000 in cash from Jamie Foxx.
“It looks like they tried to offer a Rolex watch as part of the deal, but now there’s an investigation into everything that’s going on. People will be happy when this thing finally ends.
Meanwhile Cameron, 50 – who is famous for leaving Hollywood in 2018 to spend more time with her rocker husband Benji, 44, with whom she had daughter Raddix, three, in 2019 – is said to have little chances of returning to Hollywood for another movie.
She recently ended her acting hiatus to star alongside Jamie in ‘Back in Action’, but a source told DailyMail.com: “These back-to-back 10-hour days cost her a lot and she hates it. be away from Raddix.”
“Cameron loves being a mom more than anything.
“She has already proven herself in the industry and has nothing left to prove to anyone.”
