After killing it on the dancefloor week after week, Carl Mullan was crowned the winner.
He got better and better with his professional partner Emily Barker.
It was an emotional victory as Carl could barely utter his words after lifting the trophy.
For his first dance of the final, Carl impressed with the paso doble. His sophisticated footwork earned him a 29 from the judges.
Carl’s dance performance moved the 2FM presenter to tears. Her emotional dance was naturally rewarded with 30.
Judge Loraine Barry said it was the “best TV show” and we can’t deny that. What are we going to do with our Sunday nights now?
