90 Day Fiancee Molly Hopkins Claims Ex-Friend Cynthia Decker Stole $30,000 From Business Account Amid Lawsuit
90 Day Fiance: Pillow Talk star Molly Hopkins accuses her former best friend, Cynthia Decker, to “steal” money from their joint venture, LiviRae Lingerie. It comes amid an ongoing legal battle between the two by Cynthia Rival company.
Court documents obtained by In Touch reveal that during a hearing held on March 7, the former best friends reached a settlement. Cynthia Decker agreed to sell its share of LiviRae Lingerie to Molly for $600,000, which would be paid in weekly installments of $2,750. Besides, Cynthia would be removed from their business accounts as part of the settlement.
On the same day, the settlement was executed, Molly Hopkins complaints Cynthia used company money to pay off his personal credit card, with the company bank account listed as the payer. Molly’s lawyer filed an emergency motion claiming Cynthia transferred $10,000 to his personal bank account and withdrew $20,000 in cash. Cynthia would have refused to return the funds, therefore, Molly seeks an interlocutory injunction to preserve the subject matter of the ongoing litigation until the end of the trial.
Cynthia Decker refuted the claims of Molly Hopkins in the file. Cynthia maintains that she still owns the company 50/50 – and that the only deal between them has yet to be finalized.
“I didn’t steal $30,000. I still own this business 50/50. The only deal we had didn’t go through. But I didn’t steal $30,000,” Cynthia says InTouch.
