Bachelors Kat Izzo and Zach Shallcross Discuss Their Split; Jesse Palmer says he thought she would win

Zach Shallcross shocked some fans – as well as the contestant Kat Izzo herself – when he eliminated her on March 6, 2023, episode of The single person.

“I could definitely think about where my feelings were at that time, and they felt bad,” Kat admitted to We Weekly. But she didn’t see the elimination coming at all. “We had a tough week,” Kat continued, “but we also had a good five weeks. So I thought it was going to be something to show my family that, ‘Yeah, sometimes we’re not perfect. “Sometimes we struggle. But he wants to love them through it. I was hoping it would be him. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.”

Previously a strong competitor for by Zach affection (Kat was the one who pulled Zach down the hall for a quick kiss when he arrived to pick up Charity for their date), the Tampa native started to unravel when she was part of a group date in Budapest.

The four women and zack saw a performance by Hungarian magician/mentalist Labib Malik (which was pretty amazing, by the way). He asked them questions about their relationship with Zach and was able to predict their answers even before they spoke. Apparently, the mentalist stirred insecurities in the four ladies, and as they left the theater, Kat was actually in tears.

The strong emotions continued into the evening portion of the group date, as the ladies made their way to the after-party. Kat still felt very emotional and closed off, and she was terrified of saying zack how she felt. But wanting to be open, Kat told Zach how she struggled.

zack admitted to being confused, especially when Kat said she had even considered leaving. Her uncertainty made him nervous, but she assured him that she had “decided to weather the storm.” He seemed relieved after their conversation and told Kat he felt better.

But in vain. When the rose ceremony came, Kat didn’t have a rose. His insecurity and doubts about their relationship worried him. zack confessed he no longer saw a “confident future” with her.

Kat admitted she thought zack was “The One”. Oh, they all do, honey. You weren’t the only one who pictured yourself as “Mrs. Will cross.

“Even up until the moment we left, I was like, ‘What? You’re supposed to be my husband,” Kat confessed. “Even when I wanted to quit because it was hard, I was like, ‘No, this is my person in the end.’ I would never give it up.

And Kat wasn’t the only one who thought she’d still be up at the end of by Zach journey. “If I’m honest, there was a time when I thought Kat was one,” Jesse Palmer admitted. “Having spoken with zack [on and off camera]I really thought it was Kat at the end.

Even if zack had a “strong relationship” with Kat “very early”, his relations with the four other women – Arielle [Frenkel], Charity [Lawson], Kaity [Biggar]And gaby [Elnicki] were just stronger. They will bring Zach home to meet their families next week on hometown dates.

“Nothing ever went wrong” zack said, “but the other relationships . . . were just stronger and I couldn’t deny them.
