Noah Schnapp gave a spoiler for ‘Stranger Things’ season 5, while David Harbor revealed when the show will end its final episodes.

While details so far are scarce on what to expect for Season 5, Noah Schnapp gave a little insight as he accepted the People’s Choice Award for Male TV Star on Dec. 6.
“You’re not ready for what’s to come,” he said. “So get ready.”
It’s not much, but it’s something. Plus, we’ve got some solid info on the show, including whether or not this will be the last we see of Eleven, Hopper, and the rest of the beloved Hawkins gang.

In effect! In February 2022, Netflix said in a statement that stranger things would return for season 5.
Showrunners and creators Matt and Ross Duffer (known as “The Duffer Brothers”) wrote on a Netflix blog (via The Hollywood Reporter), “Seven years ago, we planned the full story arc for stranger things. At the time, we predicted that the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too big to tell in four, but – as you will soon see for yourselves – we are now racing towards our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; Season 5 will be the last.”

Season 4 is not the last season of stranger things, but this is the beginning of the end. Season 5 will be the last season of the series and season 4 was marketed with the tagline “Every ending has a beginning”. The penultimate season set up Season 5.

stranger things Season 4 came out in two volumes. Season 4 Volume 1 was released on Netflix on May 27, 2022 and Season 4 Volume 2 was released on the streaming platform on July 1, 2022.

When is the stranger things Season 5 release date?
No official release date has been announced for stranger things Season 5 so far. According The Hollywood Reporter, filming has yet to begin on the fifth and final installment of the Netflix smash. In March 2023, David Harbor revealed that the series will begin filming its final season in June.
The Duffer brothers once saidVariety that there would probably be a much shorter wait between season 4 volume 2 and season 5.
“The gap should be a bit shorter this time around, as we already have a first look, and we can’t imagine there will be another forced six-month hiatus,” they said, adding, “During the six month pandemic hiatus, we profiled Season 5 and pitched it to Netflix. Everyone was also there when we first pitched the show in 2015. So that we were strangers then, we were friends now, and there were a lot of tears when it was just an amazing journey for all of us, and while it’s hard to believe we’re nearing the end , we feel incredibly lucky to have such amazing partners.

No announcement has been made as to whether there will be a stranger things movie. As far as we know so far, Season 5 will still be a series, not a feature film.

Season 5 is actually the last season of stranger things. The Duffer brothers wrote in a blog post (via Variety) that it was their decision from the start to make Hawkins’ story arc last four to five seasons.

However, they hinted that spinoffs may be possible in the future.
“There are still many more exciting stories to be told in the world of stranger things: new mysteries, new adventures, unexpected new heroes,” the Duffers wrote. “But first, we hope you’ll stay with us as we complete this story of a powerful girl named Eleven and her brave friends, a broken police chief and a fierce mom, a small town called Hawkins and an alternate dimension known only as the Upside Down.”
The Duffers reportedly signed a massive nine-figure deal with Netflix in 2019 before stranger things Season 4, so it makes sense that we could see more stories from thestranger thingsuniverse on the streamer.
