GODSMACK Forced To Cancel April South American Tour Due To Low Ticket Sales

GODSMACK, the multi-platinum rock band from Massachusetts, has announced that it has canceled its previously announced South American tour due to a “lack of ticket sales”. The tour was scheduled to take place via Santiago, Chile on April 21, Buenos Aires, Argentina on April 25, and São Paulo, Brazil on April 27.

The band expressed with deep sadness any inconvenience caused by the abrupt cancellation. In a statement posted on their social media pages: “We are heartbroken to have to announce that GOD cannot travel to South America in April as promised. We are so saddened by this as we have been trying for so long to make this work, but due to lack of ticket sales we simply cannot find a way to fund this tour at this time. Please know that we tried everything we could to make this work, but it is now beyond our control. »

“We love and appreciate our fans and remain optimistic that we will one day play for your country. Until then, our sincere apologies.

Initially, GODThe South American tour of was supposed to take place last November. But it was postponed until April this year due to what influential rockers at the time described as “logistical issues”.

Despite the cancellation of the 2023 South American tour, GODSMACK will still hit the road with metalcore stars I Prevail this spring.

GODSMACK Continues To Light Up The Sky With New Album

GODSMACK, the multi-platinum hard rock band from Massachusetts, continues to light up the sky with their new album “Lighting Up The Sky”. Released Friday, February 24, 2023 via BMG, making it the quartet’s eighth studio album and featuring some of their most powerful songs to date.

The LP was co-produced by GODSMACK frontman Sully Erna and Andrew “Mudrock” Murdock (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, ALICE COOPER). This collaboration resulted in an album that showcases GODSMACK’s signature sound while exploring new sonic territory.
