Taylor Armstrong shared some then and now photos of her daughter, Kennedy, on Instagram over the weekend in honor of the child’s 17th birthday. And, right away, longtime fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were taken aback.
Like Taylor, who joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County last year said “time flies” in his tribute post, his many online followers shared their thoughts on the matter, with many expressing shock at how adult Kennedy now looks.
“My granddaughter’s 17th birthday…I can’t believe how fast time flies. I’m so proud to be your mom!” Taylor wrote in the caption of her Feb. 25 Instagram post.
As Bravo fans well know, Taylor was just a young girl when Taylor joined the cast of RHOBH for its first season in 2010.
“OMG she’s so tall now!!! Sounds so much like you,” one person wrote in the comments section of Taylor’s post.
“She’s grown into a very pretty young woman,” noted another, who apparently nodded to Taylor and Kennedy’s troubled past with Taylor’s late ex-husband, Russell Armstrongdied by suicide in 2011 after allegedly abusing Taylor for years.
“Peace and love to you both… We have seen what you have been through, it is absolutely wonderful to see you happy, healthy and in your power. Happy birthday,” a third person wrote.
“I can’t believe how big she is, and I’m just a fan of the show lol,” a fourth commented.
Taylor also shared an additional Instagram post, which featured a slideshow of photos of her and Kennedy.
“My baby is 17 today…I can’t believe how incredibly strong and beautiful she is. She is my arrow and I am her bow,” she captioned the photos.
And again, a number of fans weighed in.
“Shit Moly!! I feel like just yesterday you were throwing him a mad hatter tea party. Happy birthday!!” a fan wrote to Taylor.
Another said, “Happy Birthday Kennedy. Taylor Kennedy is absolutely gorgeous, just like her mother. Where have the years gone? I remember her Mad Hatters birthday party when she was so little.
Someone else asked, “Wasn’t she just a baby[?]” and exclaimed: “[I] I can’t believe she’s 17!
Taylor, who married her current husband, John Bluherin 2014, will be presented in the next season of RHOC after starring in the first three seasons of RHOBH in a full-time role and later making a number of appearances on the show.
The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17 is set to premiere on Bravo in the coming months.
