On Monday afternoon, the mother-of-four confirmed once and for all that she would not be attending this year Met Galamuch to the dismay of fans… but we have to admit, she has a pretty good reason.

In a hilarious report instagram photo stories, The rhythm section the actress offered a behind-the-scenes look at what she’s been up to while everyone’s having a blast – she’s pumping breast milk in a bathroom! She captioned the photo:
“First Monday in May”

LOLz! Quite the juxtaposition to many of her famous and very glamorous looks over the years. But we can’t be too sad that she’s not walking the carpet on fashion’s biggest night…we mean, she’s got another mouth to feed! Less than three months ago, she welcomed her fourth child with her husband Ryan Reynolds!

So yes, Blake’s absence is no surprise.
Last week, during the grand reopening of the Tiffany & co. Fifth Avenue in New York City (yes, the same city where the famous Met is held), the 35-year-old told reporters who asked if they’d see her at the fashion’s coveted celebration:
“You’re not going. But I’ll be watching.”
Right after, someone in attendance complimented her on her 2022 look, and she quickly responded with:
“Thank you, that’s very sweet. I’ll wear it on my sofa on Monday.
Ahhh. Mom’s life. I must love it!

Although this mom does not walk on the carpet, both pregnant Rihanna AND another mother of four Kim Kardashian teased Chanel look, so we’re sure we’ll take what we can get.
