Prince Harry and Queen Camilla have been told to reconcile for the world to see at the coronation next weekend.
The Duke of Sussex slammed the Queen Consort in his autobiography, Spare – something that was said to have been ‘hurt’ by Camilla.
What did Prince Harry say about Queen Camilla?
The Duke of Sussex didn’t shy away from talking about his mother-in-law in his autobiography, Spare.
As well as calling her “evil” and “evil mother-in-law” in his book, Prince Harry also accused the current Queen Consort of “sacrificing” him on her “personal PR altar”.
“I have complex feelings about winning over an in-law who I thought had recently sacrificed me on his personal PR altar,” he wrote. He also claimed that he and Prince William begged King Charles not to marry Camilla. However, their pleas fell on deaf ears as the royal couple married in 2005.
The Queen Consort was reportedly hurt by Prince Harry’s scathing criticism.
“Of course it bothers her, of course it hurts. But she doesn’t give up. His philosophy is always: ‘Don’t make a thing of it and it will work out – the less said the sooner fixed,’ a friend told The Sunday Times earlier this month.
Will Queen Camilla and Prince Harry reconcile?
However, as the UK is set to enter a new era with the coronation of King Charles, could now be a good time for Prince Harry and Camilla to reconcile? The bookmakers certainly seem to think so.
According to OLBG, the odds of Prince Harry kissing Camilla at the coronation are currently 3/1.
“Prince Harry, if he attends, can build bridges and it’s Evens (1/1) shaking hands with Prince William on camera, while a kiss for Camila is 3/1 and Kate 2 /1,” OLBG spokesperson Jake Moore exclusively told ED!
Harry to build bridges and royal to make a shock appearance?
Prince William and Prince Harry are said to be arguing right now. However, according to the bookmakers, they could put that aside and shake hands at the coronation. They are currently at parties to do so. Meanwhile, Harry has been asked to mend his seemingly broken relationship with Kate by giving her a kiss at the coronation. He’s 3/1 to do that.
Meanwhile, although it’s been announced that Meghan won’t be at the coronation, bookmakers believe she might make a shock appearance after all. The Duchess of Sussex is 25/1 to make a shocking U-turn and show up after all.
Elsewhere, Prince Louis is currently at 2/1 to repeat his Jubilee behavior and Prince Harry is at 10/1 to make no appearance at all.
Plus, King Charles is 100/1 to lay the crown in the ceremony! I’m crossing my fingers that doesn’t happen!
