Post Malone clears the air and clarifies that, despite speculation, he has “never felt healthier!”
The “Rockstar” rapper took to Instagram on Thursday night and shared a selfie from Antwerp, Belgium. He quickly acknowledged, “I meant I don’t do drugs.”
“Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a good evening. I meant I’m not on drugs.
Post Malone added, “A lot of people have asked me about my weight loss and I guess, on stage.”
However, he assured fans that he “has never felt healthier” and is “just having a lot of fun playing”.
Additionally, Malone credited “life as a dad” as having a positive impact on his lifestyle, as he welcomed a daughter last year. After all, he wants “to be there for a long time [his] Little angel.”
“I guess daddy’s life started and I decided to quit the sodas and start eating better so I could be with this little angel for a long time. The next step is smoke and beer, but I like myself. consider as a patient man…lol!”
He then admitted that he had been in the studio lately and was “excited to share” new music before stating that he was “in a super dope place”.
“My brain is in a super dope place, and I’m the happiest I’ve been in a long time.”
The artist concluded his post by writing, “Good night nerds. Spread the love and rock.
Speculation was sparked by viral videos of the rapper performing
It’s important to note that Post Malone’s comment didn’t come out of nowhere.
Shortly after taking a fall on stage last year, a video of Malone vibrating during a performance began to attract attention. However, most people focused on him bouncing back from his fall.

Eventually, after additional performances showed a slimmed-down Post Malone exhibiting similar behavior, people began to speculate about his health.

However, despite fan concerns, Post Malone says he’s doing A-OK, and his dad expressed similar sentiments on Instagram amid initial speculation.
The rapper’s father proclaimed, “He’s been healthier in years! Mentally and physically.”
