The 22-year-old celebrity influencer, who has been open about her journey with acne on TikTok, recently shared a video to show that not everything is as it appears on social media thanks to filters. She shares her makeup-free look in the short video and how a beauty filter changes that. “Your skin is normal: The beauty filter can hide a lot” is written at the top of the video.

Earle’s short video was direct and direct. She captioned: “Anyone who doesn’t feel safe with their skin just knows it’s normal and getting better.”
The video shows a front to back view of the filter on and off to demonstrate that the filter can easily mask many skin flaws.
Earle added to the comments, “I’ve been battling acne since college and I know how bad it can make you feel. But it happens to everyone, don’t stress 🥰.”

For anyone considering taking Accutane for severe acne, Earle shared some insight into his experience on TikTok.
“Just got my third month pills on Accutane so let’s do an update,” she began her video. She then showed her skin since she started taking the acne medication and another view from the start of the second month of treatment.
“What side effects did I experience? Your lips are drying out. My lips still crack on my face, but it’s manageable,” she continued. “I have a bloody nose because it’s so dry.”
She explained that she had taken Accutane in the past and this was the second time she had taken the drug. “The first time I never had a mood issue or anything, but this time around I’m still going through little bouts of sadness,” she explained. “I just want to cry, and I’m not a big screamer.”
She took off the beauty filter to show her followers that she has scars, but everything is looking up.
“I was so depressed this summer because of my skin, and I’ve never been more insecure,” she said. “But you have to remember that no one cares as much as you do. No one probably even notices.
Earle then reminded everyone that this was normal.
“The more we start to normalize acne and blemishes in your skin, the less people will feel insecure about it,” she said. “Everything we see is so photoshopped and fake. So if you’re dealing with that or unsure about something with your skin, you’re normal.

About a week ago, Earle shared a video about how “social media is fake” in response to a comment asking how clear his skin is.
“I just took the beauty filter off, and I’m not saying it’s horrible. My skin is so much worse than that,” she said, sans makeup. “But when I have makeup on and a beauty filter, you can’t see that happening.”
She went on to explain that she was allergic to self-tanners and recently had one, so her skin is irritated. She concluded her video by reminding her followers, “Don’t compare yourself to what you see online.”
