Months of anticipation and many, many memes later, Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie have finally made their first red carpet appearances in support of Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie.” And their hot pink outfits — which look like they could be pulled straight from the film’s neon-smeared set — didn’t disappoint.
After walking on a carpet, the couple took the stage at CinemaCon alongside Gerwig to talk about the star-studded film, which will be released on July 21. Margot showed up in a pink and white gingham Prada ensemble, consisting of a cropped strapless top with scalloped detailing and a matching wrap mini skirt. She teamed the bold look with understated jewelry and accessories, including classic open-toed Louboutins and a delicate Chanel anklet.
Gosling, in keeping with the movie’s memorable tagline (“She’s everything. He’s just Ken”) kept her red carpet much more casual. The Oscar-winning actor arrived in a hot pink bombshell jacket alongside a personalized t-shirt with Gerwig’s name printed in classic Barbie font. The shirt is from movie apparel and props brand Super Yaki, whose Barbie t-shirts (available in black and white) are currently available for pre-order.
