“[The Marvels is] pick up directly after the end of Captain Marvelnot in the timeline but in the story,’ the MCU president said Kevin Feige in an interview with Collider.
We’re also doing this in our upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion, and they’re two very different follow-ups to that film. Tonally, they couldn’t be more different. But there’s something immensely powerful about seeing Monica, Kamala, and Carol together in one frame.
To me, it just feels like the first Avengers movie and seeing them together in one frame. It’s frightening. They are so good together and they all have different stories with each other.
Directed by Nia Da Costa (candy man), movie stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe AshtonAnd Park Seo Joun.
“Kamala Khan, for example, is a terrific new character in the pantheon,” Feige added. “I am very proud of the Ms. Marvel to show. I also know – and this is a spoiler – he basically flies Wonders.
The great thing about Kamala on her show, and now in this movie, is that she’s no different than Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in Civil war. She can’t believe she’s with these other heroes, and can’t believe she ends up in these places. And it’s fun because we want to be that.
Wonders hits theaters November 10.
