Jennifer Garnier refuses to pay attention to the media buzz surrounding her ex-husband, Ben Affleck!
In a new interview for Stellar Magazine Posted on Saturday, the 50-year-old actress shared that she doesn’t like to see anything about her ex-husband’s life — or hers, for that matter — online or in the news, while the he former couple try to maintain their friendship and co-parenting relationship. Although it’s good news, Jennifer insisted she didn’t want to hear about it! She explained to the publication:
“I work really hard not to see either of us in the press. It doesn’t feel good to me, even if it’s something nice about one of us. I’m just trying to forget that I’m out there in any way, and that’s the same with everyone I love. I don’t need to see someone in my family turned into a meme.

Understandable! As you probably know, Ben has gone viral multiple times over the years, all thanks to his infamous resting unhappy face. More recently, he made a ton of headlines when he attended the 2023 Grammys with his wife, Jennifer Lopezz, and looked downright miserable all night. Asked by Stellar Magazine if she had seen any memes of the actor, Jennifer said she hadn’t seen any at the time before joking:
“Although I’m sure he’s meme-worthy, yes!”
LOLz. That’s for sure!
Along with having some hilarious moments, Ben also went viral on social media after making controversial comments about his ex-wife. As you may remember, the Argo The star faced backlash after apparently blaming Jennifer for her alcoholism issues during an interview on The Howard Stern Show in 2021. He said at the time that “part of the reason I started drinking was because I was trapped” in his marriage to the Alias alum and that “I would drink probably still” if they were still married. Lots of love ! However, Ben later insisted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that his comments were misinterpreted, adding that he “would never want my children to think that I would ever speak ill of their mother”.
