Season 3 of Love is blind gave rise to three success stories — sort of! After only two couples said “yes” at the altar, a third couple confirmed they were giving it another shot at the Wednesday, November 9, meeting.
“In a way, I was definitely shocked [when SK turned me down]. He and I didn’t talk about a definitive answer until we got up on the altar, but I knew in my heart and I knew in his that, like, we had this amazing journey and it was so special for us, ” Raven Ross said exclusively We Weekly about the former fiancé Sikiru “SK” Alagbada in October 2022. “And we’ve solved so many other issues that even though it’s not our time today, like, very soon, we can try to work on it and improve and keep growing – it’s probably the best thing we’ve had throughout all of this is just to grow together and be patient.
SK stood by his decision that the duo’s relationship was not “ready” for marriage, explaining that he moved out during the grad days after their nuptials. The MBA candidate, however, contacted Raven after the finals and told her We that the duo were taking things “one day at a time” as they navigated long-distance love. By November 2022, however, they had called it quits.
Alexa Alfia And Brennon Lemieux, meanwhile, they said “yes” and moved to Texas together.
” Things are going well. Things are wonderful. We were finally able to bring the families together for a bunch of different events,” Brennon said. We in October 2022, noting that the spouses also got another dog. “Honestly, the biggest challenge is trying to, for example, select holidays. We go with this family [for] half the vacation and then we drive 200 miles to this family. So we try to select that stuff. Married life, for me, is – I don’t know if I’m doing it wrong or not, but it’s been great. It was easy.
Alexa then said We that she’s surprised at how “fun” marriage is.
“Every day you’re with your best friend and he makes jokes and it’s just being goofy and being yourself,” she said. “With our two dogs, we truly live our best life. I think it was really a surprise how easy married life is when you really have yours. It’s incredible.”
The third couple still together — Colleen Roseau And Matt Bolton – also exchanged vows during the finale. Their post-show relationship, however, is a little less conventional as they don’t live together. During the Season 3 reunion, Colleen and Matt blamed their different rental contracts for why they didn’t move on, but insisted they were happy and doing well.
The remaining pairs of pods – cole barnet And Zanab Jaffrey And Bartise Bowden And Nancy Rodriguez — ended things on their respective wedding day and aren’t on the best of terms. While Bartise was telling We he and Nancy were friends, she disagreed.
“I cut him out of my life so I could heal from what he did,” Nancy said of Bartise rejecting her at the altar.
Things weren’t just tense between the former couple at the nuptials — Nancy’s family lashed out at the groom, too.
“His family is not aware that we are communicating,” he said. “You saw their reaction in the final. I mean, they were in my face and they wouldn’t approve of Nancy and I being friends.
