Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have been spotted for the first time since ABC announced that the couple had been released from their duties as co-presenters of CMG3; What do you want to know after the revelation of their romantic relationship. Amy and TJ appeared oblivious to the news of the loss of their concerts as they packed their bags on the PDA on a Los Angeles sidewalk on Saturday, January 28, as shown in photos provided by Daily mail. Wearing a casual gray hoodie and sweatpants, Amy wrapped herself around TJ and jumped into his arms as they exchanged kisses.
Not even 24 hours before the makeup shoot, ABC revealed the shooting in a statement. “After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes, about different options, we all agreed that it was best for everyone if they left ABC News,” the news division told HollywoodLife in an emailed statement. “We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are grateful for their contributions.”
The duo, who hosted GMA3: what you need to know since 2014, were first removed from the show’s third hour on December 5 amid speculation that their relationship began at work when they were both married. During their suspension, the president of ABC News Kim Godvin addressed to staff in an internal email that has been widely shared online. “I understand that continued coverage can distract from the incredibly important work our team does here at ABC News,” she wrote. “Amy and TJ will remain off-air pending the completion of an internal review, and there will be anchor rotation at GMA3 at this time.” Stephanie Ramos and Gio Benitez intensified to fill the two temporarily vacant places.
Fans began to speculate that the co-hosts were romantically involved after a series of photos emerged in November of them appearing quite pals in a Times Square pub. Shortly after the scandal, Amy and TJ deleted their Instagram profiles.
