Omarion claims he’s responsible for his former B2K member Lil Fizz, who landed a role on reality TV series ‘Love & Hip Hop’: ‘He was living with his mother at the time’

Looks like Omarion tells how he helped the member of his group Lil Fizz to get a job.

During an excerpt from his 5-part docuseries Omega: The Gift and the Curse, Omarion revealed that he helped his former group member B2K Lil Fizz secure a place on love and hip hop.

Omarion explain,

“Mona [Scott] and his team asked – they said, ‘do you have any other friends or people that, you know, we could interview and see?’ Because it’s about connections and interweaving people in scenarios and so on.

He continued,

“I proposed Fiz. He was living with his mother at the time and I think he was between two places. It was an opportunity and I’m not one to take people’s opportunity.

He added,

“But I never thought it would become what it has become.”

Despite Omarion lending a helping hand, it’s safe to say that these two have had a rocky relationship for the past few years.

In 2019, Lil Fizz faces tons of backlash after confirming he is dating his Love and hip-hop: Hollywood co-star April Jones, who shares two children with Omarion.

Omarion broke his silence on the controversial relationship months later and notably showcased a carefree outlook, which impressed many fans. He told VladTV in November 2019,

“I feel no way, I feel no way about it. I think if they’re happy, then they should be happy. I think they should change the narrative, though.

Lil Fizz And Apryl Jones called him shortly after, and almost two years later, Lil Fizz publicly apologized to Omarion during the millennium tour.

While on stage Sparkle said,

“I don’t think it would be right if I didn’t take this moment, brother, to publicly apologize to you.” I fucked up my brother and I’m not proud of it, man.

He added,

“So I want to stand here, humbly, and sincerely apologize for any trouble or dysfunction I have caused between you and your family.”

As for Omega – The Gift and the Curse, fans can expect to dive deep into the 2019 Millennium Tour which found the R&B crooner reunited with his B2k bandmates for the first time in over a decade. The 5-part docuseries will provide personal insight into by Omarion life and features never-before-seen interviews, rehearsals, tour footage and performances.
